Meet the Care Provider (the Pet Care Companion)

Hi, I’m Jenny, or Jen, or Miss Jenny, or Jenn-ayy (Forrest Gump inflection).
I have a big heart for animals (and humans). Being able to fill the role of stand-in pet caregiver for other pet-loving people is a blessing, an honor and a joy.

For around a decade, I was a pet parent to two miniature senior dogs, til they went to heaven. I’m now mom to a trio of felines named Reason, Mercy and Justice. All were rescued as babies in the spring of ’24, with three weeks between each Gotchu Day, from outside the house where I resided at the time.
I’ve lived in several towns in Michigan. Port Huron is my hometown; Detroit is my beloved adopted city since the 1st of June in 2021. Pet Care Companion was birthed almost a year after that move. I think I’ll remain transplanted here for the rest of my life on this side of heavenly paradise (but only God knows the plans that He has for me). The east side is a little taste of heaven on Earth to me. I love to explore it on my bicycle and love to cycle along the riverfront and around Belle Isle.
In addition to my little cat family, I’m so grateful to be part of a few other loving families, which include the one I was born into and the one I was “born again” into: the family of disciples of Christ Jesus/Yeshua.
